[New York City, NY] The Big Tree Memorial Fund is thrilled to announce its collaboration with esteemed charity partner Lance Kawaguchi to ring the closing bell, supporting the remarkable #SouthPoleTrek4Cancer initiative.
The partnership between the Big Tree Memorial Fund (BTMF) and Lance Kawaguchi reflects a shared dedication to improving the lives of those impacted by cancer. Through this collaboration, BTMF aims to elevate awareness and support for cancer research, treatment, and prevention initiatives.
Led by Lance, the #SouthPoleTrek4Cancer initiative unites 24 global charities from five regions across the world. This trek is a powerful demonstration of determination and resilience, inspiring others to join the fight against cancer.
"We are incredibly honored to be part of the South Pole Trek for Cancer and to have Lance on our team. Being at the Nasdaq closing bell on Monday exceeded our expectations," said Lauren Long, Chief Marketing Officer of BTMF. "We founded BTMF just three years ago in memory of Erik Knapp, who we lost to glioblastoma. Joining forces for Monday’s event, and being part of the South Pole Trek, enables us as a brain cancer community to make a significant impact and raise awareness for this vital cause."
BTMF continues to lead in promoting advancements in cancer research and providing essential support to individuals in need. By partnering with Lance Kawaguchi and the #SouthPoleTrek4Cancer initiative, the Big Tree Memorial Fund seeks to create a lasting impact and bring hope to those fighting cancer around the globe.
